He is head of the Probate Department dealing with private client work including wills, probate, inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney and retirement planning. Michael is a member of the Probate Section of the Law Society. |

Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has been the partner heading up our residential conveyancing department since 2000, being primarily based at the West Bridgford office. Tim is a member of the Law Society Property Section. |

James graduated from Warwick University in 1992 and qualified as a solicitor in 1996. James trained and worked in Sheffield before joining Massers in 2002 and deals with many aspects of commercial and property litigation including contractual claims, insolvency, landlord and tenant disputes and professional negligence. |

Jeff joined Massers in April 2006 and has a rare mix of legal experience, having operated in private practice, industry and the public services dealing with commercial contracts and IT matters. He specialises in company, commercial and business related matters.

Martin Witherspoon - martinw@massers.co.uk
Martin obtained a degree from the University of Keele and attended Nottingham Law School before qualifying as a solicitor in 1997. He joined Massers in 2005 as a private client specialist and deals with wills, inheritance tax planning, the administration of estates, enduring powers of attorney and court of protection applications.

Vik obtained his law degree at the University of Derby and qualified as a solicitor in September 2003. He joined Massers in 2003, to work in the Commercial Property department and has considerable experience in all types of property, landlord, tenant and development transactions, offering clear concise and practical advice. Vik also offers corporate support to Jeff Alvey in all commercial property related matters. |

Peter Johnson - Consultant - peterj@massers.co.uk
Having been educated first at Nottingham High School and then at Cambridge University, Peter qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and subsequently was a partner at another Nottingham firm of solicitors before joining Massers as Commercial Property partner in 2000. Peter retired from the partnership in March 2009 and remains as an in-house consultant advising on commercial property matters of all kinds, including development, options and general landlord and tenant work. |

Bruce Anthony - Consultant - brucea@massers.co.uk
Bruce is a specialist family lawyer with over twenty years experience in all aspects of family law. His particular interest is in negotiating financial settlements in the context of divorce or seperation. He is a member of "Resolution" and as such subscribes to a conciliatory approach to resolving family problems. He is also a fully trained family lawyer. Bruce is based at our West Bridgford office. |

Julie obtained a law degree at Nottingham Trent University and joined Massers in 1993. Julie is a very experienced personal injury solicitor and is a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and an APIL senior litigator. Julie has a particular interest in head injuries and we are members of Headway - the brain injury association Personal Injury Solicitors list. |

Carol qualified as a Legal Executive in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1992. She joined Massers in 1984 in the residential conveyancing department and has specialised in this area ever since working out of our Victoria Street office. |
