Michael Mason Having gained a law degree at Manchester University, Michael joined Massers in 1973. He is head of the Probate Department dealing with private client work including wills, probate, inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney and retirement planning. Michael is a member of the Probate Section of the Law Society. |

Peter Johnson Having been educated first at Nottingham High School and then at Cambridge University, Peter qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 and subsequently was a partner at another Nottingham firm of solicitors before joining Massers as Commercial Property partner in 2000. Peter has considerable experience in commercial property matters of all kinds, including development, options and general landlord and tenant work. |

Tim Brooke Tim obtained a law degree from Nottingham Trent University in 1992. He joined Massers in August 1993 and after a period with another firm he rejoined the firm in April 2000. He is based at our West Bridgford office as head of the firm's Residential Conveyancing Department.He also deals with a variety of private client matters including wills, probate, administration of estates, inheritance tax planning and powers of attorney. |

James Carley
James graduated from Warwick University in 1992 and qualified as a solicitor in 1996. James trained and worked in Sheffield before joining Massers in 2002 and deals with many aspects of commercial and property litigation including contractual claims, insolvency, landlord and tenant disputes and professional negligence.

Jeff Alvey

Julie Graham - Associate
Julie obtained a law degree at Nottingham Trent University and joined Massers in 1993. Julie is a very experienced personal injury solicitor and is the contact for the firm's panel membership of Headway National, a charity offering support and advice to those suffering with a head injury. She is also a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and an APIL senior litigator. |

Vik Moothia - Associate
Vik obtained his law degree at the University of Derby and qualified as a solicitor in September 2003. He joined Massers in 2003, to work in the Commercial Property department and has considerable experience in commercial property matters of all kinds. Vik also offers corporate support to Jeff Alvey in all commercial property related matters.

Martin Witherspoon - Associate
Martin obtained a degree from the University of Keele and attended Nottingham Law School before qualifying as a solicitor in 1997. He joined Massers in 2005 as a private client specialist and deals with wills, inheritance tax planning, the administration of estates, enduring powers of attorney and court of protection applications. |

Marian Goodall - Solicitor Marian graduated from Birmingham University and qualified as a solicitor in January 1980. She joined Massers in October 2000 and specialises in residential conveyancing, working from our West Bridgford office. |

Angela Shaw - Solicitor
Angela obtained her degree at Nottingham Trent University and qualified in October 2002. She joined Massers in 2005 having previously worked for another local firm. She specialises in all aspects of Employment Law and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Carol Freeman - Legal Executive Carol qualified as a Legal Executive in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1992. She joined Massers in 1984 in the residential conveyancing department and has specialised in this area ever since working out of our Victoria Street office. |

John Fletcher - Conveyancing Executive
John has been dealing with both residential and commercial conveyancing throughout his forty three years in the profession, having always lived and worked in and around Nottingham. He joined Massers in 2002 and works in our Victoria Street office, where he specialises in dealing with residential conveyancing matters.

Alyson Howland - Solicitor
Alyson obtained her degree at Nottingham Trent qualifying as a solicitor in 1991. Alyson has always specialised in family law in particular the financial aspect of separation. She is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and serves on the Nottingham Regional Committee. Alyson is based at our West Bridgford office.
