Natalie Abbott, our Employment Lawyer, will be conducting our last breakfast seminar of 2014, “A review of 2014: the changing landscape of employment law” at 9.00am on Wednesday 19th November 2014 (registration, tea, coffee and pastries from 8.30am).
The seminar will cover the following topics:
- The impact of changes to the Tribunal procedure and the introduction of the Early Conciliation regime.
- A proactive approach to sickness absence management – Fit for Work?
- The flexible, modern workplace – practical effects of the Children and Families Act 2014.
- Significant legal rulings in 2014 e.g. Lock v British Gas (holiday pay) and Kaltoft (disability).
