Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1995, became a partner (subsequently director) with Massers in 2000, and has headed up our busy residential conveyancing department also since 2000. Tim is also our client care director.
Tim has a wide range of clients dealing with property transactions up and down the country. Whilst the majority of transactions are within the counties of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, he also deals with significant numbers of transactions in London and other major cities within the UK.
James qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and joined Massers in 2002. As a Director and head of the Dispute Resolution/Employment department he specialises in various fields of litigation including issues concerning property (commercial and residential), contentious probate and contractual matters.
Richard qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 and has specialised in Wills, Probate/Administration of Estates, Powers of Attorney and Advice relating to Inheritance Tax, Estate Planning and Trusts ever since.
Richard has previously been Head of Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts Departments at other Solicitors’ firms in Bedford and Nottingham.
Away from the office, Richard plays football in Nottinghamshire saturday leagues and regularly travels to watch Watford FC.
Russell is a commercial property solicitor who is a director of the Company. He has been a solicitor since 1995.
He specialises in commercial property, corporate and commercial work for small to medium sized businesses locally and throughout the East Midlands. He provides assistance to the residential team in relation to stamp duty land tax and complicated transactions. He is based in the Victoria Street office.
Martin qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and was head of the Wills and Probate department at another Nottingham firm of solicitors from 1997 until 2003. Martin joined Massers in 2005.
Martin specialises in Wills, Administration of Estates, Powers of Attorney, Advice relating to Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning, Court of Protection applications and Trusts. He also administers a charity for trustees.
Away from the office Martin is a keen tennis player and cyclist. He took a break from the legal profession in 2003-5 to cycle around the world carrying his tent with him.
